On May, 8th and 9th, 2013, the first World Symposium for Researchers in Diving took place in Leipzig, Ger-many. This book contains all lectures and presentations of the participants in a form of scientific papers. Current diving reserach is presented here from different perspectives, e. g. as an analysis of published papers, from biomechnical view, from a sports-medicine perspective, and in a sportpsychological framework.
Dr. Thomas Köthe is Scientist and diving expert for Institute of Applied Training Science in Leipzig.
Prof. Dr. Oliver Stoll is Professor for Sportpsychology and applied sportpsychologist from the Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg.
